Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Which of you loves the wealth of his heir more than his own wealth?"They replied, "Messenger of Allah, there is none among us who does not love his own wealth more."He said, "His wealth is what he has sent ahead, and his heir's wealth is what he has left behind."

His saying, "Indeed, your Lord knows that you stand in prayer nearly two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or a third of it, and so do a group of those with you. And Allah determines the extent of the night and the day. He knew that you would not be able to sustain it, so He has turned to you in forgiveness. So recite what is easy for you of the Quran. He knew that there would be among you those who are ill and others traveling through the land seeking the bounty of Allah and others fighting in the cause of Allah. So recite what is easy from it and establish prayer and give zakat and loan Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you put forward for yourselves, you will find it with Allah"
