Commentary

Zia-ur-Rahman Azami

Tirmidhi (1082), Ibn Majah (1849), Nasai (3214), and Ahmad (20192) all narrated it through the route of Muaz bin Hisham, from his father, from Qatada, from Hasan, from Samura, and he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Hasan heard from Samura, as has been clarified in many places in this book.
