Abu Dharr reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are three whom Allah عز وجل loves.A man who comes to a people and asks them for help by Allah, not by any kinship between himself and them, and they refuse him. Then one of them stays behind and follows him secretly, giving him something privately, so that none knows of his gift except Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and the one who gave it.And a people who travel through the night until, when sleep becomes dearer to them than anything that could be matched against it, they dismount and lay down their heads, but one of them rises and devotes himself to me with humble entreaty and recites my verses. And a man who is in a military expedition and they meet the enemy and are routed, but he turns his chest forward until he is killed or victory is granted to him."
