Umar said, "I instruct the caliph after me concerning the early Muhajirun, that he recognize their rights. I instruct the caliph concerning the Ansar, those who settled in the home of Islam and embraced faith before the Prophet ﷺ migrated, that he accept from the good among them and overlook the faults of those who err."
قال عمر: أوصي الخليفة بالمهاجرين الأولين: أن يعرف لهم حقهم، وأوصي الخليفة بالأنصار الذين تبوؤوا الدار والإيمان من قبل أن يهاجر النبي ﷺ: أن يقبل من محسنهم، ويعفو من مسيئهم.
