The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Ayesha, beware of trivial deeds, for they have a pursuer from Allah."In another narration, "Beware of trivial sins."
قال لي رسول الله ﷺ: يا عائشة إياك ومحقرات الأعمال فإن لها من الله طالبا. وفي رواية: إياكم ومحقرات الذنوب.
Ibn Majah (4243), Ahmad (24415), Darimi (2768), and Qudai in Musnad Shihab (955) all narrated it through Saeed bin Muslim bin Banik, who said, "I heard Amir bin Abdullah bin Zubayr say, Awf bin Harith narrated to me, from Ayesha," and he mentioned it. The wording given is that of Ibn Majah, while the second version is found with the others. Its chain of transmission is sahih.
