The moon split during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bear witness."
انفلق القمر على عهد رسول الله ﷺ فقال رسول الله ﷺ: اشهدوا
Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Description of the Day of Judgment (2801), but did not give its wording, and Tirmidhi (2182) narrated it, and the wording is his, both of them through the route of Shubah, from Amash, from Mujahid, from Ibn Umar, who said, and then he mentioned it. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith."
