He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "By the intercession of a man who is not a prophet, a number equal to the two tribes, or equal to one of the two tribes, Rabia and Mudar, will enter Paradise."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, is Rabia not part of Mudar?"He replied, "I say only what I say."
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول: ليدخلن الجنة بشفاعة رجل ليس بنبي مثل الحيين-أو: مثل أحد الحيين-: ربيعة ومضر. فقال رجل: يا رسول الله، أو ما ربيعة من مضر؟ قال: إنما أقول ما أقول.
Ahmad (22215) and Ajurri in Sharia (817) both narrated it through Hurayz bin Uthman, from Abdul-Rahman bin Maysara, from Abu Umama, and he related it.Its chain is sahih. Abdul-Rahman bin Maysara is the Himsi, a trustworthy narrator. Ajli declared him trustworthy, and Abu Dawud said, "The teachers of Hurayz are all trustworthy."
