The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I will be the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, the first whose grave will split open, the first to intercede, and the first whose intercession will be accepted."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: أنا سيد ولد آدم يوم القيامة، وأول من ينشق عنه القبر، وأول شافع وأول مشفع.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Virtues (2278) from Hakam bin Musa Abu Salih, who said, Hiqal, meaning Ibn Ziyad, told us, from Uzai, who said, Abu Ammar told me, who said, Abdullah bin Faruq told me, who said, Abu Hurairah told me, and he related it as mentioned.As for His saying, "That is a gathering easy for Us", it means bringing people out of their graves and giving them life after their death, restoring them and gathering them for reckoning and recompense, all of which is easy for Us and simple in Our sight. Allah Most High said, "Our command is but a single word, like the blink of an eye" [Qamar 54:50], and He said, "Your creation and your resurrection are but as that of a single soul" [Luqman 31:28]. That is by His saying "Be," just as Allah Most High said, "His command, when He intends a thing, is only to say to it, 'Be,' and it is" [Yasin 36:82].
