The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Purification is half of faith. Saying 'Praise be to Allah' fills the scale. 'Glory be to Allah' and 'Praise be to Allah' together fill what lies between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is light. Charity is proof. Patience is illumination. The Quran is either an argument for you or against you. Every person sets out each morning and trades his soul, either freeing it or destroying it."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: الطهور شطر الإيمان، والحمد لله تملأ الميزان، وسبحان الله والحمد لله تملآن ما بين السماوات والأرض، والصلاة نور، والصدقة برهان، والصبر ضياء، والقرآن حجة لك أو عليك، كل الناس يغدو فبائع نفسه فمعتقها أو موبقها.
Muslim narrated it in Taharah (223), from Ishaq bin Mansur, who said, Habban bin Hilal told us, Aban told us, Yahya told us, that Zayd told him, that Abu Salam told him, from Abu Malik Ashari, who said, and then he mentioned it.
