The Prophet ﷺ said, "The martyr is granted six privileges at the first drop of his blood. Every sin of his is forgiven, he is shown his place in Paradise, he is married to the wide-eyed houris, he is secured from the Great Terror and from the punishment of the grave, and he is adorned with the garment of faith."
Ahmad (17783) reported it from Zayd bin Yahya Dimashqi, who said, Ibn Thawban narrated to us, from his father, from Makhul, from Kathir bin Mura, from Qays Juzami, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan on account of Ibn Thawban, who is Abdul-Rahman bin Thabit bin Thawban Shami. There is disagreement about him, but his hadith is hasan. The discussion of him is set out at length in the Book of Funerals.
