The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The martyr has six privileges with Allah. He is forgiven with the first drop of his blood, he is shown his place in Paradise, he is spared the punishment of the grave, he is granted safety from the greatest terror, he is clothed in the garment of faith, he is wed to the maidens of Paradise, and he is granted intercession for seventy of his relatives."
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: للشهيد عند الله ست خصال: يغفر له في أول دفعة من دمه، ويرى مقعده من الجنة، ويجار من عذاب القبر، ويأمن من الفزع الأكبر، ويحلى حلة الإيمان، ويزوج من الحور العين، ويشفع في سبعين إنسانا من أقاربه.
Ibn Majah (2799) narrated it - and this is his wording -, as did Ahmad (17182) and Tabarani in al-Kabir (20/266-267), all of them through various routes from Ismail bin Ayyash, from Buhayr bin Saad, from Khalid bin Madan, from Miqdam bin Mad Yakrib, who related it.Its chain is hasan because of Ismail bin Ayyash, for his hadith is hasan when he narrates from the people of his own region, the Levantines, and Buhayr bin Saad was from the people of Hims. Baqiya bin Walid corroborated him as well, for Tirmidhi (1663) narrated it from Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman, who said, Naeem bin Hammad narrated to us, who said, Baqiya bin Walid narrated to us, from Buhayr bin Saad, with similar wording.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih gharib hadith."
