Ayesha said, "I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ laugh so heartily that the inside of his mouth was visible. He would only smile."She said, "Whenever he saw clouds or felt a strong wind, the change would show on his face."She said, "Messenger of Allah, when people see clouds they rejoice in the hope of rain, but I see that when you see them, displeasure shows on your face."He replied, "Ayesha, what assures me that there is no punishment in them? A people were once punished by the wind, and a people saw the punishment approaching and said, 'This is a cloud bringing us rain'[Ahqaf 46:24]."
Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir (4828) and (4829) - and this is his wording - and Muslim in the eclipse (899:16), both of them through the route of Abdullah bin Wahb, who reported to us, Amr bin Harith told us, that Abu Nadr told him, from Sulayman bin Yasar, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.
