We said, "Messenger of Allah, tell us about Paradise. What is it built of?"He replied, "A brick of gold and a brick of silver. Its mortar is fragrant musk, its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it lives in bliss without misery, abides forever without dying, his garments never wear out, and his youth never fades."
قلنا: يا رسول الله، حدثنا عن الجنة، ما بناؤها؟ قال: لبنة ذهب ولبنة فضة، وملاطها المسك الأذفر، وحصباؤها اللؤلؤ والياقوت، وترابها الزعفران، من يدخلها ينعم ولا يبأس، ويخلد ولا يموت، لا تبلى ثيابه ولا يفنى شبابه.
It was narrated by Ahmad (8043) and Abd bin Humayd (1420), and Ibn Hibban (7387) graded it sahih, all of them through the route of Zuhayr bin Muawiya, who said, Abu Mujahid Saad Tai narrated to us, who said, Abul-Mudilla, the freed slave of the Mother of the Believers, narrated to us, that he heard Abu Hurairah say, then he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Abul-Mudilla, since his hadith is hasan. Ibn Majah vouched for him as reliable, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators. The discussion of him is set out at length in the book on fasting.
