The Prophet ﷺ said, "People must stop boasting about their dead forefathers, who are nothing but fuel for Hell, or else they will become more contemptible before Allah than the dung beetle that rolls dung with its nose. Allah has removed from you the arrogance of the days of ignorance and its boasting about ancestors. A person is either a pious believer or a wretched sinner. All people are the children of Adam, and Adam was created from dust."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لينتهين أقوام يفتخرون بآبائهم الذين ماتوا، إنما هم فحم جهنم، أو ليكونن أهون على الله من الجعل الذي يدهده الخرء بأنفه، إن الله قد أذهب عنكم عبية الجاهلية وفخرها بالآباء، إنما هو مؤمن تقي وفاجر شقي، الناس كلهم بنو آدم، وآدم خلق من تراب.
Tirmidhi (3955) and Ahmad (10781) both narrated it through Abu Amir Aqadi, Abdul-Malik bin Amr, who said, Hisham bin Saad narrated to us, from Saeed bin Abu Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Hisham bin Saad Madani, who is disputed but whose hadith is hasan. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan hadith."And His saying, "No female conceives or gives birth except with His knowledge" [Fatir 35:11]
