Suhayb reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "How remarkable is the affair of the believer! All of his affairs are good, and this is not the case for anyone except the believer. If something pleasing befalls him, he gives thanks, and that is good for him. If something harmful befalls him, he endures it patiently, and that is good for him."

His saying, "And We placed between them and the cities which We had blessed, cities easy to be seen, and We made the journey between them easy, saying, 'Travel through them safely by night and day.' But they said, 'Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys,' and they wronged themselves. So We made them tales and dispersed them in total dispersion. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful."
