Ata bin Yasar reported,

I met Abdullah bin Amr bin As and said, "Tell me about the description of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Torah."He replied, "Certainly. By Allah, he is described in the Torah with some of the same qualities by which he is described in the Quran. 'O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness, a bringer of good tidings, and a warner' [Ahzab 33:45], and as a protector for the unlettered. You are My servant and My Messenger. I have named you the One who Trusts. He is not harsh, nor coarse, nor one who clamors in the marketplaces. He does not repay evil with evil, but pardons and forgives. Allah will not take his soul until He straightens through him the crooked creed, so that they say, 'There is no god but Allah,' and through it He opens blind eyes, deaf ears, and sealed hearts."
