She came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I see that everything is for men, and I do not see women mentioned with anything." Then this verse was revealed, "Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women..." [Ahzab 33:35].
Tirmidhi (3211) narrated it from Abd bin Humayd, who said, Muhammad bin Kathir told us, Sulayman bin Kathir told us, from Husayn, from Ikrima, from Umm Umara Ansariyya, and he related it. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan gharib hadith."I say, its chain is hasan because of Sulayman bin Kathir Abdi, for he is hasan al-hadith in matters other than Zuhri, and he has been corroborated. Jareer corroborated him, narrating from Husayn, from Ikrima, from Umm Umara Ansariyya, with the same wording, as found in Tabarani's Al-Kabir (32/25).Shuba narrated it from Husayn as a mursal report, and the ruling goes to whoever connected the chain, even though Shuba was more precise in memory.
