The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The feet of a servant will not move on the Day of Resurrection until he is questioned about his life and how he spent it, about his knowledge and what he did with it, about his wealth, how he earned it and where he spent it, and about his body and how he wore it out."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا تزول قدما عبد يوم القيامة حتى يسأل عن عمره فيما أفناه، وعن علمه فيما فعل، وعن ماله من أين اكتسبه وفيما أنفقه، وعن جسمه فيما أبلاه.
Tirmidhi (2417) narrated it from Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman, who said, Aswad bin Amir informed us, Abu Bakr bin Ayyash narrated to us, from Amash, from Saeed bin Abdullah bin Jurayj, from Abu Barza Aslami, and he related it. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith."Of similar meaning is what was narrated from Ibn Masud, attributed to the Prophet, "The feet of the son of Adam will not move away from before his Lord on the Day of Judgment until he is asked about five things, about his life and how he spent it, about his youth and how he wore it out, about his wealth, where he earned it from and how he spent it, and about what he did with what he knew."Tirmidhi (2416) narrated it from Humayd bin Masada, who said, Husayn bin Numayr Abu Mihsan narrated to us, Husayn bin Qays Rahbi narrated to us, Ata bin Abu Rabah narrated to us, from Ibn Umar, from Ibn Masud, and he related it. Tirmidhi said, "This is a rare hadith, we do not know it as coming from Ibn Masud, from the Prophet ﷺ, except through the hadith of Husayn bin Qays, and Husayn is declared daif in hadith on account of his memory."
