Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ asked Jibreel, peace and blessings be upon him, about this verse, "And the trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on" [Zumar 39:68]. He asked, "Who are those whom He did not will to fall dead?"Jibreel replied, "They are the martyrs, girded with their swords around the Throne of the Most Merciful. The angels will meet them on the Day of Resurrection and bring them to the gathering place upon noble mounts of ruby, whose coverings are softer than silk. The stride of these mounts is as far as the men's sight can reach. They travel through Paradise, and after a long excursion they say, 'Take us to our Lord so that we may see how He judges between His creation.' My Lord smiles upon them. And whenever He smiles upon a servant in any place, there is no reckoning upon him."

عن أبي هريرة

عن النبي ﷺ أنه سأل جبريل عليه الصلاة والسلام عن هذه الآية: {ونفخ في الصور فصعق من في السموات ومن في الأرض إلا من شاء الله ثم نفخ فيه أخرى فإذا هم قيام ينظرون}[الزمر: ٦٨] من الذين لم يشأ أن يصعقهم؟ قال: هم الشهداء المتقلدون أسيافهم حول عرش الرحمن، تتلقاهم الملائكة يوم القيامة إلى المحشر بنجائب من ياقوت، نمارها ألين من الحرير، مد خطاها مد أبصار الرجال، يسيرون في الجنة، يقولون عند طول النزهة: انطلقوا بنا إلى ربنا عز وجل فننظر كيف يقضي بين خلقه، يضحك إليهم إلهي. وإذا ضحك إلى عبد في موطن، فلا حساب عليه.
