The Prophet ﷺ led us in the morning prayer at Mecca. He began reciting Surat al-Muminun, and when he reached the mention of Musa and Harun, or the mention of Isa, Muhammad bin Abbad was uncertain, or his sources differed on this point, the Prophet ﷺ was overcome by a fit of coughing, so he bowed.
صلى لنا النبي ﷺ الصبح بمكة، فاستفتح سورة المؤمنين حتى جاء ذكر موسى وهارون- أو ذكر عيسى- محمد بن عباد يشك أو اختلفوا عليه- أخذت النبي ﷺ سعلة، فركع.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Prayer (455) through several chains from Abdul-Razzaq, who said, Ibn Jurayj informed us, saying, I heard Muhammad bin Abbad bin Jafar say, Abu Salama bin Sufyan, Abdullah bin Amr bin As, and Abdullah bin Musayab Aabidi informed me, from Abdullah bin Saaib, who mentioned it.
