Qays bin Abbad reported,

I heard Abu Dharr swear an oath that the verse "These are two adversaries who have disputed concerning their Lord" [Hajj 22:19] was revealed about those who came forward for combat on the day of Badr, namely Hamza, Ali, and Ubayda bin Harith, along with Utba and Shayba, the two sons of Rabia, and Walid bin Utba.
