The Prophet ﷺ said, "The people of Paradise will look up at those in the lofty chambers above them just as you gaze at a brilliant star receding on the horizon to the east or west, due to the difference in rank between them."They said, "Messenger of Allah, those are the dwellings of the prophets, which none but they can reach."He replied, "On the contrary, by the One in whose hand my soul rests, they are for Some men who believed in Allah and affirmed the truth of the messengers."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: إن أهل الجنة يتراءون أهل الغرف من فوقهم كما يتراءون الكوكب الدري الغابر في الأفق من المشرق أو المغرب، لتفاضل ما بينهم. قالوا: يا رسول الله، تلك منازل الأنبياء، لا يبلغها غيرهم، قال: بلى، والذي نفسي بيده، رجال آمنوا بالله وصدقوا المرسلين.
Bukhari narrated it in Bad al-Khalq (3256), and Muslim in al-Jannah wa Sifat Naimiha wa Ahliha (2831), both through the route of Malik bin Anas, from Safwan bin Salim, from Ata bin Yasar, from Abu Saeed Khudri, who related it.
