The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "How can I find ease when the bearer of the Trumpet has placed it to his lips and bowed his forehead, waiting for the command to blow?"We said, "Messenger of Allah, what shall we say on that Day?"He replied, "Say, 'Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. Upon Allah we rely.'"
قال رسول الله ﷺ: كيف أنعم وصاحب الصور قد التقم، وحنا جبهته ينتظر، متى يؤمر أن ينفخ؟ قيل: قلنا: يا رسول الله! ما نقول يومئذ؟ قال: قولوا، حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل، على الله توكلنا.
Abu Yaala (1084) narrated it from Uthman, he said, Jareer narrated to us, from Amash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Saeed, and he related the hadith. Its isnad is sahih.Ibn Hibban (823) graded it sahih by another route from Uthman bin Abu Shayba, with the same wording.Hakim (4/559) also narrated it, by way of Ismail bin Ibrahim Abu Yahya Taymi, from Amash, with the same wording, except that Ismail is daif.
