The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned the Dajjal one morning and related a long hadith, part of which states the following. While he is in that state, Allah will reveal to Isa, "I have brought forth servants of Mine whom no one has the power to fight, so take My servants safely to Mount Tur." Then Allah will send Gog and Magog, and they will swarm down from every height. Their vanguard will pass by the Lake of Tiberias and drink all that is in it, and when those at the rear pass by, they will say, "There was once water here."The Prophet of Allah Isa and his companions will be besieged until the head of an ox would be more valuable to one of them than a hundred Dinar is to one of you today. So the Prophet of Allah Isa and his companions will earnestly beseech Allah, and Allah will send upon them a worm in their necks, and by morning they will be dead as the death of a single soul. Then the Prophet of Allah Isa and his companions will descend to the earth, and they will not find a hand's span of ground that is not filled with their stench and rot. So the Prophet of Allah Isa and his companions will earnestly beseech Allah, and Allah will send birds whose necks are like those of Bactrian camels, which will carry them and cast them wherever Allah wills. Then Allah will send down a rain from which no house of clay or hair will offer shelter, and it will wash the earth until it leaves it like a polished mirror. Then it will be said to the earth, "Bring forth your fruit, and restore your blessing." On that day a group will eat from a single pomegranate… the hadith continues.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Tribulations (2137) through several routes from Walid bin Muslim, [who said] Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir told me, from Yahya bin Jabir Tai, from Abdul-Rahman bin Jubayr bin Nufayr, from his father Jubayr bin Nufayr Hadrami, that he heard Nawas bin Saman, and he related it.
