Regarding the verse "Those who exchanged the favor of Allah for disbelief" [Ibrahim 14:28], he said, "By Allah, they are the disbelievers of Quraysh."Amr, who is Ibn Dinar, said, "They are Quraysh, and Muhammad ﷺ is the favor of Allah."Regarding "and led their people into the abode of ruin" [Ibrahim 14:28], he said, "The Fire, on the day of Badr."
{الذين بدلوا نعمت الله كفرا} قال: هم والله كفار قريش قال عمرو (هو ابن دينار): هم قريش، ومحمد ﷺ نعمة الله. {وأحلوا قومهم دار البوار} قال: النار يوم بدر.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Military Expeditions (3977), from Humaydi, who said, Sufyan (that is, Ibn Uyayna) narrated to us, who said, Amr (that is, Ibn Dinar) narrated to us, from Ata (that is, Ibn Rabah), from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned it.
