While Ayesha and I were together, she was overcome by fever. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perhaps you have been talking about a certain matter."She replied, "Yes."Then Ayesha sat up and said, "My example with you is like that of Yaqub and his sons. 'Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe'" [Yusuf 12:18].
بينا أنا وعائشة أخذتها الحمى، فقال النبي ﷺ: لعلك فى حديث تحدث. قالت: نعم، و قعدت عائشة قالت: مثلي ومثلكم كيعقوب وبنيه {بل سولت لكم أنفسكم أمرا فصبر جميل والله المستعان على ما تصفون}
