Huzaifa bin Yaman reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ met him while he was in a state of major ritual impurity, so he slipped away, performed the full ablution, and then returned.He said, "I was in a state of major ritual impurity."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "The Muslim is not impure."

عن حذيفة

أن رسول الله ﷺ لقيه، وهو جنب، فحاد عنه فاغتسل، ثم جاء، فقال: كنت جنبا، قال: إن المسلم لا ينجس.
