The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been given five things that no one before me was given. Every prophet was sent only to his own people, but I have been sent to all of humanity, both Ahmar and black. War spoils were made lawful for me, though they were not lawful for anyone before me. The earth has been made for me a place of pure prayer and a mosque, so whenever the time of prayer comes upon a man, he may pray wherever he is. I have been aided with awe cast into the hearts of my enemies a month's journey ahead of me. And I have been granted the right of intercession."
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on tayammum (335), and Muslim in the chapter on mosques and places of prayer (521), both of them through Hushaym, who said, Sayyar narrated to us, who said, Yazid the jurist narrated to us, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who said, and then he related it.The wording given is Muslim's, and Bukhari's wording is similar.
