Saeed bin Musayab reported,

The bahirah was a she-camel whose milk was withheld for the idols, so no one among the people would milk her. As for the saaibah, they would set her loose for their gods, so nothing would be loaded upon her.Abu Hurairah said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw Amr bin Amir al-Khuzai dragging his intestines in the Fire. He was the first to set free the saaibahs."The wasilah was a virgin she-camel that came as the first offspring among the camels, then was followed by another female, with no male between them. They would set them loose for their idols when one was joined to the other without a male in between. The hami was the stud camel that completed a set number of matings. Once he had fulfilled his matings, they would dedicate him to the idols and exempt him from carrying loads, so nothing would be placed on him, and they called him the hami.
