Her father would never break an oath until Allah revealed the expiation for oaths. Abu Bakr then said, "I will not hold to any oath when I see something better than it, except that I will accept the dispensation Allah has granted and do that which is better."
أن أباها كان لا يحنث في يمين حتى أنزل الله كفارة اليمين، قال أبو بكر: لا أرى يمينا أرى غيرها خيرا منها، إلا قبلت رخصة الله وفعلت الذي هو خير.
