This was narrated by Bukhari in the Book of Sales (2222) and Muslim in the Book of Faith (155), both from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, our teacher was Layth, from Ibn Shihab, from Ibn Musayab, that he heard Abu Hurairah say, and then he narrated it. In another version, then Abu Hurairah says, "Recite, if you wish, "There is not one of the people of the Book but will believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them" [Nisa 4:159]." In another version, "He will remain on earth for forty years, then he will die and the Muslims will pray over him," so all the religious communities will become one, which is the religion of Islam, the upright faith, the religion of Ibrahim .It has been said that the pronoun in the phrase "before his death" refers back to the person from the people of the Book. Its meaning would then be that there is no one among the people of the Book but will believe in Isa before his own death. But the first interpretation is more correct.
