Urwa reported,

Ayesha said, "Son of my sister, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not favor any one of us over another in the division of the time he spent with us. Hardly a day passed without his going around to all of us, drawing near to each wife without intimacy, until he reached the one whose day it was, and he would spend the night with her.When Sawda bint Zama grew old and feared that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would part from her, she said, "Messenger of Allah, my day goes to Ayesha."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ accepted that from her.Ayesha said, "We say that it was concerning this, and cases like hers, that Allah عز وجل revealed," and I think she said the verse, "And if a woman fears ill treatment or aversion from her husband" [Nisa 4:128].

عن عروة قال

قالت عائشة: يا ابن أختي! كان رسول الله ﷺ لا يفضل بعضنا على بعض في القسم من مكثه عندنا. وكان قل يوم إلا وهو يطوف علينا جميعا، فيدنو من كل امرأة من غير مسيس حتى يبلغ إلى التي هو يومها، فيبيت عندها. ولقد قالت سودة بنت زمعة حين أسنت وفرقت ان يفارقها رسول الله ﷺ: يا رسول الله يومي لعائشة. فقبل ذلك رسول الله ﷺ منها. قالت: نقول في ذلك أنزل الله عز وجل وفي أشباهها أراه قال: {وإن امرأة خافت من بعلها نشوزا أو إعراضا}

His saying, "And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion, there is no sin upon them if they make terms of settlement between them, and settlement is best. And present in human souls is stinginess. But if you do good and fear Allah, then indeed Allah is ever of what you do Acquainted"
