The Prophet ﷺ said, "Beware of corrupted relations between people, for it is the shaver."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: إياكم وسوء ذات البين، فإنها الحالقة.
Narrated by Tirmidhi (2508), from Abu Yahya Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahim Baghdadi, who said, Mualla bin Mansur told us, Abdullah bin Jafar Makhrami, who was a descendant of Miswar bin Makhrama, told us, from Uthman bin Muhammad Akhnasi, from Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hadith that is sahih and gharib from this route. The meaning of his statement 'and the corruption of relations between people' refers to enmity and hatred. And his statement 'the shaver' means that it shaves away religion." End of quote.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Abdullah bin Jafar Makhrami (with a saakin khaa and a light fatha on the raa) and his teacher Akhnasi, for these two make the hadith hasan.
