There was a verse over which the people of Kufa differed, so I journeyed to Ibn Abbas to ask him about it.He said, "This verse, 'Whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell' [Nisa 4:93], was among the last to be revealed, and nothing has abrogated it."
آية اختلف فيها أهل الكوفة، فرحلت فيها إلى ابن عباس، فسألته عنها. فقال: نزلت هذه الآية: {ومن يقتل مؤمن متعمدا فجزاؤه جهنم} هي آخر ما نزل وما نسخها شيء.
Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir (4590), and Muslim in the tafsir (3023), both of them through Shubah, who said, Mughira bin Numan narrated to us, he said, I heard Saeed bin Jubayr say, then he mentioned it.
