A man reported,

I asked, "Messenger of Allah, what are you calling people to?"He said, "I call to Allah alone. The One who, if harm touches you and you call upon Him, removes it from you. The One who, if you become lost in a barren land and call upon Him, returns you. The One who, if drought strikes you and you call upon Him, causes growth for you."I said, "Then advise me."He said, "Do not insult anyone. Do not regard any act of kindness as insignificant, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face, even pouring from your bucket into the vessel of one seeking water. Wear your lower garment to the middle of the shin, and if you refuse, then to the ankles. Beware of letting your garment hang below that, for letting the garment hang is from arrogance, and Allah does not love arrogance."

Sahih

His saying, "Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, and be good to parents, and to relatives, and to orphans, and to the needy, and to the neighbor who is near, and to the neighbor who is a stranger, and to the companion at your side, and to the traveler, and to those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not love those who are arrogant and boastful."
