Abdullah bin Zama reported,

He heard the Prophet ﷺ giving a sermon in which he spoke about women, saying, "One of you sets out to whip his wife the way slaves are whipped, yet he may well sleep with her at the end of the day."

عن عبد الله بن زمعة

أنه سمع النبي ﷺ خطب، فذكر في خطبته النساء، فقال: يعمد أحدكم يجلد امرأته جلد العبيد، فلعله يضاجعها من آخر يومه.
