Regarding the words of Allah Most High, "And do not marry women whom your fathers married" [Nisa 4:22], any woman your father or your son has married, whether the marriage was consummated or not, is forbidden to you.

Ibn Jareer narrated it in his Tafsir (6/550) from Muthanna, who said, Abdullah bin Salih narrated to us, who said, Muawiya bin Salih narrated to me, from Ali bin Abu Talha, from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Abdullah bin Salih, the scribe of Layth, who is disputed, though his hadith is hasan when he does not err.
