Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Wills (2766), and Muslim in the Book of Faith (89), both through Sulayman bin Bilal, from Thawr bin Zayd Madani, from Abu Ghayth, from Abu Hurairah, as mentioned above.As for what is reported from Abu Saeed Khudri, who said, We said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell us what you saw on the Night Journey." He said, "I was taken to a great number of Allah's creatures, men each of whom had two lips like the lips of a camel, and there was one appointed over them, men who would pry open the jaw of one of them, then a rock of fire would be brought and thrust into his mouth until it came out from below him, and he would let out a bellowing and a screaming. I said, 'O Jibreel, who are these?' He said, 'These are the ones who consume the property of orphans unjustly. They are only consuming fire in their bellies, and they will burn in a blazing fire.'"This is not sahih. Ibn Abu Hatim narrated it in his Tafsir (3/879), and it contains Abu Harun Abdi, who narrates from Abu Saeed, and he is Umara bin Juwayn, a liar. Ibn Hibban said, "He used to attribute to Abu Saeed things that were not from his hadith. It is not permissible to record his hadith except out of astonishment."Likewise, what is reported from Abu Barza, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, a people will be raised from their graves with their mouths blazing with fire." It was asked, "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Have you not seen Allah say, "Indeed, those who consume the property of orphans unjustly are only consuming fire in their bellies, and they will burn in a blazing fire" [Nisa 4:10]?" is also not sahih.Ibn Hibban narrated it (5566), and Ibn Abu Hatim in his Tafsir (3/879), both from the hadith of Uqba bin Mukram, who said, Yunus bin Bukayr told us, Ziyad bin Mundhir told us, from Nafi bin Harith, from Abu Barza, who said, as mentioned above.Ziyad bin Mundhir is extremely daif. In fact, Ibn Main attributed lying to him. And it is astonishing that Ibn Hibban included this hadith of his in his Sahih, while he said in Al-Majruhin (359), "He was a Rafidi who fabricated hadith concerning the faults of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, and he narrated things about the virtues of the People of the House that have no basis. It is not permissible to record his hadith." Yet he then went back and mentioned him in Al-Thiqat (6/326). Glory be to Him who never forgets.
