Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

I spent the night at the home of my aunt Maymunah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ talked with his family for a while, then went to sleep. When the last third of the night came, he sat up, looked toward the sky, and recited, "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding" [Aal Imran 3:190].Then he got up, performed ablution, cleaned his teeth with a siwak, and prayed eleven units of prayer. Then Bilal called the adhan, so he prayed two units, then went out and led the dawn prayer.
