Not everything we narrate to you did we hear directly from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Rather, our companions narrated to us, for we were kept busy tending to our camels.
ما كل ما نحدثكموه سمعناه من رسول الله ﷺ، ولكن حدثنا أصحابنا، وكانت تشغلنا رغية الإبل.
