When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was taken on the Night Journey, he was brought to the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was granted three things. He was granted the five daily prayers, he was granted the closing verses of Surah al-Baqarah, and forgiveness was granted for the grave sins of those of his community who do not associate anything with Allah.
لما أسري برسول الله ﷺ انتهي به إلى سدرة المنتهى… قال: فأعطي رسول الله ﷺ ثلاثا: أعطي الصلوات الخمس، وأعطي خواتيم سورة البقرة، وغفر لمن لم يشرك بالله من أمته شيئا- المقحمات.
