Bukhari narrated it in Maghazi (4008) and Muslim in Prayer of the Traveler (256:808), both from the hadith of Amash, from Ibrahim, from Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid, from Alqama, from Abu Masud Badri, who related it.Abdul-Rahman said, "I met Abu Masud while he was circling the House, so I asked him, and he told it to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."Mansur likewise narrated it from Ibrahim, but he did not mention "Alqama" between Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid and Abu Masud, as found in Bukhari in Virtues of the Quran (5009) and Muslim in Prayer of the Traveler (255:807).As for his saying "they will suffice him," it means they will protect him from evil and guard him from harm. It has also been said that it means they will free him from the need for night prayer. And it has also been said that it means they will free him from the need to recite the entire Quran.
