The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who is skilled with the Quran will be with the noble and righteous scribes, and the one who recites the Quran haltingly, finding it difficult, has two rewards."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: الماهر بالقرآن مع السفرة الكرام البررة، والذي يقرأ القرآن و يتمتع فيه وهو عليه شان له أجران.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Prayer of Travelers (798:244) through several routes from Abu Awana, from Qatada, from Zurara bin Awfa, from Saad bin Hisham, from Ayesha, and he related it as mentioned.Bukhari also narrated it in the tafsir (4937) through another route from Qatada, and its wording will come in the chapter on what has been said about the merit of one who memorizes the Quran.
