The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say during the prostrations of Quran recitation at night, "My face has prostrated to the One who created it and brought forth its hearing and sight by His might and power."Wazad in another narration, "So blessed is Allah, the best of creators."
كان رسول الله ﷺ يقول في سجود القرآن بالليل: سجد وجهي للذي خلقه، وشق سمعه وبصره بحوله وقوته. وزاد في رواية: فتبارك الله أحسن الخالقين.
This was narrated by Tirmidhi (580), Nasai (1129), and Hakim (1/220), all of them through the route of Abdul-Wahhab Thaqafi, from Khalid Haddan, from Abu Aliyah, from Ayesha, and he related it as mentioned. Its isnad is sahih. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith." The addition found in Hakim states, and he said, "Sahih according to the criteria of the two sheikhs."It is sunnah to perform sujud when reciting a verse containing a sajdah, and there are fifteen such places:1. Araf [206] 2. Rad [15] 3. Nahl [9] 4. Isra [109] 5. Maryam [58] 6-7. Hajj, which contains two places [18, 77] 8. Furqan [60] 9. Naml [26] 10. Sajdah [15] 11. Sad [4] 12. Fussilat [38] 13.
