The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is not one of us who does not chant the Quran melodiously."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ليس منا من لم يتغن بالقرآن.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tawhid (7527), from Ishaq, who said, Abu Asim narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Ibn Shihab informed us, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.His saying, "chants the Quran," means beautifying and adorning the voice with it.
