The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has not listened to anything as He listens to a Prophet reciting the Quran melodiously."In another wording, "Allah has not listened to anything as He listens to a Prophet with a beautiful voice reciting the Quran melodiously and aloud."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: ما أذن الله لشيء ما أذن للنبي أن يتغنى بالقرآن. وفي لفظ: ما أذن الله لشيء ما أذن لنبي حسن الصوت يتغنى بالقرآن يجهر به.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Virtues of the Quran" (5024), and Muslim narrated it in "The Prayer of Travelers" (792:232), both through Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Zuhri, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, as mentioned. The other narration was reported by Muslim in the same place through a different route from Abu Hurairah, with the same content.
