Tirmidhi related it (3062) from Qutayba, who said, "Abdullah bin Wahb narrated to us, from Huyayy, from Ibn Abu Abdul-Rahman Hubli, from Abdullah bin Amr," and he mentioned it.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan gharib hadith."I say, It is as he said, for it is hasan because of Huyayy, who is Ibn Abdullah Maafiri, about whom there is disagreement, and he has been accused of error. Among his errors is the mention of "Maidah" in this hadith, while the correct version of his statement is only "Surah Fath."Another of his errors is that he did not mention, in the narration of Hakim in Mustadrak (2/311), anything except Surah "Maidah" alone, without "Fath." So the correct version of his statement is Surah Fath, by which is meant Surah Nasr, as in the previous hadith of Ibn Abbas.
