Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to delight in good dreams, and at times he would ask, "Has any of you seen a dream?" When someone reported a dream, he would inquire about him, and if the person was of upright character, his dream pleased him all the more.A woman came and said, "Messenger of Allah, I dreamt that I entered Paradise, and I heard a thud that made Paradise tremble. I looked, and there was so-and-so the son of so-and-so, and so-and-so the son of so-and-so," until she counted twelve men. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had dispatched a military expedition before this.She continued, "They were brought wearing dust-colored garments, with blood gushing from their jugular veins. It was said, 'Take them to the river of Baydakh,' or he said, 'to the river of Baydah.' They were plunged into it, and they came out with faces like the moon on the night of its fullness. Then chairs of gold were brought, and they sat upon them. A platter," or a word like it, "was brought containing fresh dates, and they ate from it. They did not turn it from one side to another except that they ate whatever fruit they desired, and I ate with them."Then the messenger bringing news from that expedition arrived and said, "Messenger of Allah, our affair went thus and so, and so-and-so was killed, and so-and-so," until he counted the same twelve whom the woman had counted.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bring the woman to me."She came, and he said, "Recount your dream to this man."She recounted it, and he said, "It is just as she described, Messenger of Allah."

عن أنس قال

كان رسول الله ﷺ تعجبه الرؤيا الحسنة، فربما قال: هل رأى أحد منكم رؤيا؟ قال: فإذا رأى الرجل رؤيا سأل عنه، فإن كان ليس به بأس، كان أعجب لرؤياه إليه. قال: فجاءت امرأة فقالت: يا رسول الله، رأيت كأني دخلت الجنة، فسمعت وجبة، ارتجت لها الجنة، فنظرت فإذا قد جيء بفلان ابن فلان وفلان ابن فلان حتى عدت اثني عشر رجلا- وقد بعث رسول الله ﷺ سرية قبل ذلك- قالت: فجيء بهم عليهم ثياب طلس تشخب أوداجهم. قالت: فقيل: اذهبوا بهم إلى نهر البيدخ- أو قال: إلى نهر البيدح- قال: فغمسوا فيه، فخرجوا منه وجوههم كالقمر ليلة البدر. قالت: ثم أتوا بكراسي من ذهب، فقعدوا عليها، وأتي بصحفة- أو كلمة نحوها- فيها بسر، فأكلوا منها، فما يقلبونها لشق إلا أكلوا من فاكهة ما أرادوا، وأكلت معهم. قال: فجاء البشير من تلك السرية، فقال: يا رسول الله، كان من أمرنا كذا وكذا، وأصيب فلان وفلان حتى عد الاثني عشر الذين عدتهم المرأة فقال رسول الله ﷺ: علي بالمرأة. فجاءت، فقال: قصي على هذا رؤياك فقصت، قال: هو كما قالت يا رسول الله.
