While we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "While I was asleep, I saw myself in Paradise, and there was a woman performing ablution beside a palace. I asked, 'Whose palace is this?' They replied, 'It belongs to Umar bin Khattab.' Then I remembered his sense of honor and turned away."Abu Hurairah said, "Umar bin Khattab wept and said, 'Could I ever feel jealous toward you, Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you?'"
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Dream Interpretation (7023, 7025), and Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions (2395), both through routes from Zuhri, from Saeed bin Musayab, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.
