I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "While I was sleeping, I was brought a cup of milk and I drank from it until I could see the quenching flowing from my limbs. Then I gave what was left to Umar bin Khattab."Those around him asked, "How did you interpret it, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Knowledge."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: بينا أنا نائم أتيت بقدح لين، فشربت منه، حتى إني لأرى الري يخرج من أطرافي، فأعطيت فضلي عمر بن الخطاب، فقال من حوله: فما أولت ذلك يا رسول الله؟ قال: العلم
Bukhari related it in the Book of Interpretation of Dreams (7006, 7007), and Muslim related it in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions (2391), both through routes from Zuhri, who said, Hamza bin Abdullah informed me that he heard Abdullah bin Umar, and he mentioned it.
